Breakthrough Central New York and Oneida County Communities That Care have joined with
many others to launch a more expansive visioning process with
The CONVENTION for the FUTURE on January 18th at MVCC (see photos)

This kick-off event was facilitated by David Beurle, founder and principal of Innovative Leadership of Australia (www.ila.net.au). Beurle is an international expert who has advanced community development across the United States and around the world.


HOW WE ARE DOING
During the Convention for the Future on 1-18, the particpants were each given 4 red circles and 4 green circles to put somewhere on any of the 10 charts in the front of the room.  There was one chart for each of the top 10 attributes of successful regional communities.   The red circles indicate that this attibute is weak and needs work,  the green circle indicates that this attribute is a strength in our region.   The pie charts below show the percentages of  red and green for  each attribute.   Click on the image to enlarge it.
