| Registration
for the Convention for the Future has reached the MAXIMUM allowed by
the fire laws of 500 participants. We anticipate additional seats
will be available due to last minute situations that will prevent some
of those registrants from being at the event. Please complete
your registration and seats will be made available based on the order
at which we receive them. Thank you for your committment
to the future here in central New York. Future events are being planned and your registration information will be used to inform you of their dates and locations. - The Convention for The Future team. |
| Everyone is invited and encouraged to participate in the kick-off of the regional Convention for the Future, 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, January 18, in The Commons at the MVCC Alumni College Center. |

The Convention for the Future will be a series of community events to enroll and align broad individual and public participation in shaping an extraordinary future for our region. Convention for the Future events are being produced by Breakthrough Central New York and Oneida County Communities That Care in cooperation with the Genesis Group and a growing list of organizations, including Leadership Mohawk Valley, Central New York Community Arts Council, Mid-York Library System, and area chambers of commerce. The kick-off event will be conducted by David Beurle, founder and principal of Innovative Leadership of Australia. Beurle is an international expert who has advanced community development across the United States and around the world. |

Participants will be seated at tables in small friendly discussion groups. There will be a limit of 500 people. Please confirm your
participation
in advance: More convention events are being planned for Rome, Herkimer, Utica, and other communities region-wide. You are invited and encouraged to host one in your community. Please contact Breakthrough Central New York for information and arrangements. |
