Provincetown AIDS Memorial

Provincetown AIDS Memorial proposal has been developed as response to a competition for the town of Provincetown, MA.  The sculpture celebrates the pioneering community of support  created by the people of Provincetown  in response to the AIDS crisis.  The center element  symbolizes the AIDS quilts - the universal symbol memorializing and celebrating the lives of those lost to the disease. 
Binghamton Community Center Binghamton Community Center

A design study for a public sculpture for the Binghamton Community Center for the Salvation Army.   This design study has been based on the work of the Syracuse University 2016 design class which produced graphic materials for the center's communications efforts. 

A symbol of the manufacturing process

"Mission Control" is a design proposal for the Quinebaug Valley Community College (QVCC) Manufacturing Center in Danielson, CT.   It is part of the Finalist submission for the Art in Public Places Competition for QVCC.

It is intended as a symbol of the manufacturing process and mans' control over the process.

Roundabout Proposal for Manhattan, Kansas
"Hi There! Welcome to Manhattan and to Our Neighborhood" is a proposal for a sculpture on top of a nearly 9 foot tall pedestal in the center of a traffic roundabout in a neighborhood of Manhattan, Kansas. This life size family group waving to passing motorists, brings a human scale to the monumental pedestal and gives a big welcome to all the viewers.
OCC Furnace Brook Retreat Center
"Beckoning" is a 2013 proposal for the Furnace Brook Retreat Center at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY.   It's intention is to peak the curiosity of visitors to the center and encourage engagement with the natural delights of the conference site.

"Joining Together 2" is a 2013 proposal for the Furnace Brook Retreat Center at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, NY.   Life size painted aluminum figures join hands on a tinted concrete base.

Texas Children's Hospital West Branch
This proposal for an outdoor painted aluminum sculpture for the new Texas Children's Hospital West Campus. It was fabricated in Houston and installed in early October, 2010.  Shown at left is one of 3 groups of colorful fantasy trees, the tallest of which is 10 feet tall.
