The concrete pour for the sculpture base took place June 9th, 2011:
thanks to the crew from the Skilled Trades Division of the City of Syracuse Department of Public Works.
The aluminum was cut with abrasive water jet cutters at North Eastern Water Jet in Amsterdam, NY.  The parts were then shipped to TRS in East Syracuse where the welding & painting were completed.
