The design concept is for a layered piece showing an aerial view of our area - an abstract representation of the city and the landscape beyond - the rivers, farmland, villages, etc. and showing the network of connections between where we are now and the places where we are headed.  Layered on the landscape - sprinkled over the landscape are the people who give meaning to our travels and like the seasonings in a gourmet meal, they add zest to our lives.  

The design would be in fabricated in painted aluminum and could be adapted for the dimensions of the available space.   The sketches on left and above are only suggestive of the ideas in this concept.
